Dr. Anil Sharma, M.D.

Dr. Anil Sharma is a founding partner of Spine & Pain Centers of New Jersey and New York . He received his fellowship training in Pain Management at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation. In addition to board certification by both the American Board Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Sharma holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pain Management. He was recertified by the board in December 2006.

Dr. Sharma has been consistently recognized for excellence throughout his career in medicine. After graduating from medical school as Valedictorian, he received the esteemed Robert Dripps Award for Best Resident at Monmouth Medical Center, where he continues today as Director of Pain Management. Subsequently, Dr. Sharma was named Best Graduating Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic. And his elite status was confirmed by his rating as one of the top pain management doctors in the Greater New York area by the firm Castle & Connelly.

Dr. Sharma is a published author and experienced educator in spine care. He currently instructs residents and medical students at Monmouth Medical Center. He also has been course director for several cadaver courses to teach other pain physicians’ newer and more complex procedures. He also has International Pain Management doctors regularly visiting to observe him do more complex cases.
